However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. While we take appropriate precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.


6. Announcement Retention

Mine Brief may retain uploaded announcements and associated documents to:

  • Improve contextual understanding of future announcements
  • Maintain historical archives and knowledge bases
  • Support investor-facing features and AI functionality
  • Improve platform performance and service delivery

We reserve the right to determine appropriate retention periods for submitted content.


7. Intellectual Property

Customers retain ownership of their original announcements, uploaded documents, and company information.

Mine Brief retains ownership of:

  • The platform
  • Software
  • Website
  • User interface
  • Proprietary systems
  • AI workflows
  • Branding and trademarks

Customers are granted a non-exclusive subscription licence to use the Mine Brief platform during an active subscription.


8. Customer Content Licence

By uploading, emailing, submitting, or otherwise providing content to Mine Brief, including announcements, documents, PDFs, company information, images, logos, and related materials (“Customer Content”), the customer grants Mine Brief a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • Store, process, and analyse Customer Content;
  • Generate summaries, company snapshots, FAQs, knowledge base articles, AI responses, and other derivative content;
  • Display and publish generated content through the Mine Brief platform and authorised customer website integrations;
  • Use Customer Content to provide, maintain, improve, and support Mine Brief services;
  • Retain Customer Content for archival, historical, backup, compliance, and operational purposes.

The customer warrants that it owns or has the necessary rights and permissions to submit Customer Content to Mine Brief and to grant the licence described above.

Mine Brief does not claim ownership of Customer Content. Ownership remains with the customer or the relevant rights holder.

This licence continues for the duration of the customer’s subscription and for any reasonable period thereafter required for backup, compliance, dispute resolution, archival, or operational purposes.


9. Website Embeds and Investor Content

Mine Brief may provide website embed codes, widgets, knowledge base pages, company snapshots, FAQs, AI-powered investor assistants, and related investor engagement tools for display on customer websites.

Customers are responsible for ensuring content published on their websites complies with applicable laws, regulations, ASX requirements, and corporate governance obligations.


10. Subscription Services

Mine Brief is offered on a subscription basis.

Subscription fees are billed in advance according to the selected plan.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month.
  • Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Customers may cancel future renewals at any time through their account or by contacting support.

Cancellation will prevent future renewals but will not result in refunds for any current billing period unless required by law.


11. Free Trial

Mine Brief may offer free trial periods to new customers.

At the conclusion of a free trial, subscriptions will automatically convert to the selected paid plan unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

Free trial eligibility, duration, and availability may be modified or withdrawn at any time.


12. Availability of Service

We aim to provide reliable access to the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, upgrades, outages, third-party service interruptions, internet failures, or events beyond our control may affect availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace platform features at any time.


13. No Investment Advice

Mine Brief does not provide:

  • Financial advice
  • Investment advice
  • Legal advice
  • Accounting advice
  • Tax advice
  • Stock recommendations

Content generated by Mine Brief is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon when making investment decisions.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mine Brief, Web and Print Design, Rambling Man Studios Pty Ltd, and their directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use of the platform;
  • AI-generated content;
  • Publication of generated content;
  • Data loss;
  • Business interruption;
  • Investor reliance on summaries or generated materials;
  • Errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or delays in content generation.

Customers use the service at their own risk.

Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for Mine Brief services during the preceding twelve (12) months.


15. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree that they will:

  • Provide accurate account information;
  • Maintain authorised access to their account;
  • Ensure submitted content is lawful and accurate;
  • Review AI-generated content where appropriate;
  • Comply with ASX disclosure obligations;
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Customers must not use Mine Brief for unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, or defamatory purposes.


16. Privacy Rights

Customers may request access to personal information held by Mine Brief by contacting us.

We will take reasonable steps to correct inaccurate information when requested.
